Yakima

Advanced Life Systems, Inc. is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) primary 911 Emergency Medical Services transport agency in Yakima County. ALS was started in April 1996, to meet community needs and respond to 911 emergency incidents, as well as transfers between hospitals and other facilities. ALS answers approximately 14,000 calls a year utilizing six advanced life support ambulances staffed around the clock with an EMT and Paramedic.

AMR Washington began service in 1923 in Seattle as Shepard Ambulance. Since then AMR has grown to the largest ambulance provider in the state and nation.  Serving Snohomish, King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Clark, Cowlitz, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Grant and Spokane Counties. AMR has over 1000 field EMT’s, Paramedics and Nurses who transport over 200,000 patients each year in Washington State.  AMR serves many fire departments and medical facilities under contract as well as health plans and insurance companies. AMR Washington is part of Global Medical Response.

Ballard Ambulance was established on August 1, 1967 by Clyde and Ruth Ballard. Today, Ballard Ambulance is comprised of approximately 40 Paramedics and EMTs delivering Primary Emergency Care to the Greater Wenatchee Valley and its surrounding communities. Crews staff stations in both Wenatchee and East Wenatchee 24 hours a day, 365 days a year answering over 7,000 calls for service annually. We remain dedicated to our founders’ beliefs of providing state of the art emergency care through service, training and equipment.

Cascade Ambulance was formed by a group of Whatcom County, WA residents whose experience in the fire and emergency medical services told them that there was a need for an alternative to what was available. Cascade Ambulance Service, Inc. is fully licensed by the Washington State Department of Health division of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services to provide "trauma verified" Basic Life Support Services.

Stevens

Chewelah Ambulance covers 750 square miles of Stevens County. Chewelah Ambulance covers as far south as Deer Lake and north as the wood-working facility past Blue Creek. Their coverage also ranges from the Columbia River to Pend Oreille County. There are few options for ambulances in the county as Stevens County Sheriff’s Ambulance, Chewelah Ambulance and Deer Park Ambulance are the three organizations that do medical transport in the county.

Spokane

Deer Park Volunteer Ambulance, established in 1948, is the oldest volunteer ambulance service in the State. DPVA is a non-profit ambulance organization providing Paramedic 911 responses and EMS transport services to the citizens of northern Spokane County and southern Stevens County, covering approximately 630 square miles. DPVA provides staffing for two ambulances and a Paramedic response vehicle. Deer Park Volunteer Ambulance is dedicated to the communities we serve, our members and our profession.

Island Air Ambulance is a critical care air ambulance service located in Friday Harbor, Washington and serves all of San Juan County and surrounding regions.  Our nationally award winning fixed wing medevac program is CAMTS accredited assuring the highest standards of care. Our fleet of state-of-the art Cessna Caravans are custom configured specifically for air ambulance service.  Island Air Ambulance offers a membership program for medically necessary flights to cover out-of-pocket expenses.

Klickitat County EMS District No. 1 provides 24 hour Advance Life Support (ALS) 9-1-1 response throughout the county. In addition to emergency calls for service, we also provide hospital to hospital specialty care transfers. In 2017 we transferred almost 250 patients from local area hospitals to the Portland or Yakima area for specialized care not offered locally.

Life Flight Network, a nonprofit air medical transport service, has helicopter, fixed-wing, and ground ambulance bases throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Life Flight Network has administrative offices in Aurora, Oregon, and employs approximately 900 people. We provide ICU-level care and life-saving transport to seriously ill or injured patients from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another.

Started as a basic first aid operation in Forest Grove and, in 1973, we began the transition to become the full-spectrum emergency and non-emergency healthcare transportation service we are today.

The Northwest Ambulance management team and its employees bring decades of experience to the provision of EMS, We have a track record of building exceptionally strong relationships with our customers and we are partners with local EMS as well as the community.

LifeLine Ambulance, Inc. is currently the largest ambulance provider in North Central Washington with a staff of more than 80 full-time and part-time Paramedics, IV Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, billing / collections staff, Medical Supervising Officers and management team. We are a primary 911 provider in all our service locations, and also provide interfaculty transports, wheelchair van transports, and event standbys, and offer training courses to the public and other medical professionals within the industry. We maintain a fleet of 13 ambulances, four 4-wheel drive response units, and 1 wheelchair transport van.

Olympic Ambulance Service, Inc. was founded in 1971 by the husband-and-wife team of Bill and Esther Littlejohn. Before starting the company, Bill followed his physician father into the medical field as a healthcare facilities manager. Esther’s background is in nursing. More than 40 years ago, Olympic Ambulance opened its doors with just one ambulance and five part-time employees. Today, the core values that built that small company live on in the employees who work every day to provide care and comfort when and where it is needed.

We respond each year to more than 2,000 calls for service including, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, swift water and back-country emergencies. We provide Western Benton County and the Lower Yakima Valley with primary 911 treatment and transportation to local area hospitals. We also respond to areas of Klickitat County and provide mutual aid to our neighboring communities such as Benton City and Paterson. We are staffed 24/7/365 with a minimum of 1 paramedic and 1 EMT per ambulance with the capabilities of providing Advanced Life Saving procedures to all of our patients as needed.

Protection-1 EMS is a privately run, Advanced Life Support (ALS), Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency serving the City of Quincy and residents residing within the boundaries of Grant County Fire District #3 including George, Sunland and Crescent Bar.

Skamania County EMS runs two ALS staffed medic units 24 hours as often as staffing allows, 7 days per week, with two ambulances in reserve for a total of 4 transporting ambulances for Skamania County. We also employ a Rescue vehicle for auto extrication, rope rescue, trail rescue, 2 squads, a regional mass casualty trailer, rehab trailer, and 2 Polaris 6×6 ATV’s.
